Hi! I adore your recipes! I made the cucumber-lime margarita ones, they were amazing. I wanted to try the watermelon basil ones for a party tonight but the link seems to be broken. I can't wait for your book to come out. Cheers!
Hi Elena - thanks for stopping by! So glad you liked the cucumber-lime margaritas - they are one of our favorites, too. The watermelon basil martini link should be working now . . . thanks for letting me know! Cheers, Michelle
Do you spray your pans or lay down parchment paper before making your shots? I don't want to risk mine sticking.
Hi Sam! Thanks for the note. We set our jelly shots in loaf pans, cake pans and ceramic baking dishes and don't prepare them in any way. You shouldn't have any difficulty with sticking. Lifting the first one out is usually a little tricky, but you will want to "test" that one anyway, before you start plating for your event, just to be sure they are suitable for guests (that's the line I feed myself anyway!). For silicon molds, we either spray a light coating of PAM or wipe them with the smallest amount of vegetable oil. Then we wipe the molds clean with paper towels. This leaves a very slight residue that assists in unmolding without affecting the taste of the jelly shots... Have a great party! Michelle
I cannot WAIT to try these out!!!!
how about mint juleps?
A friend of mine sent me a link months ago to an Austin Wedding Blog that was featuring some of your designs, but not your recipes. I am SO glad I found you, and can't wait to try some of these out!

Thanks!
Hi chilikitty, after much hand-wringing and hair-pulling, we DID finalize the Kir Royale. It's in the JSTK recipe book - sorry, we can't post recipes from the book as it would violate our contract with the publisher! XO Michelle

Hello! I am kind of a beginner with making jelly shots, but I really want to create some recipes of my own. Do you have any tips for keeping the right consistency, or the right balance of flavor?
Thanks so much!
I just wanted to thank you for helping to make our New Years Party a success! We made 3 different kinds, and I was surprised with how easy they were to make. We used plastic ice cube trays and sprayed them like you suggested in your tips section, worked perfect. Thanks for all your hard work in the Jelly Shot Test Kitchen!
